Raymond Henwick is the founder of RSD in the Western Cape.

RSD coach rugby to young school boys, with their mission to plant the seeds of enjoyment of rugby in these kids.

We also chat through his daily rituals and habits in his life as an entrepreneur.

Question 1.

Tell us more about the industry you are in?

- RSD coach rugby to young boys in the Western Cape.

- Through the example of their coaches, they want to encourage discipline and values.

- Find them on their Facebook page, where they are most active. Find them on R Skills & Development Western Cape.



Question 2.

What are your daily rituals and habits?

- Raymond uses a dream board above his work desk, to inspire him to be a better person. It motivates him to achieve various things.

- He advises entrepreneurs to break down their dreams of the future into what they need to do daily to achieve this.

- Focus on today to change your life.

- Your brain is like a sponge the first 10 minutes before you go to bed and 10 minutes after you wake up. He focusses on his daily communication, planning, and instructions to coaches in these times. By doing this, he feels that he already accomplished something for the day in the first 10 minutes.

- He commits to read a chapter of a book a day.

- Exercise regularly, as it boosts your self-esteem and it improves his positive mind set.



Question 3.

Any bad habits that entrepreneurs need to stop immediately?

- You can use social media for the good in it, as you can spread your brand easy by using it, but be careful to be consumed. He needs to really focus on not getting consumed in social media.

Any books that you recommend?

- Raymond recently added me to a WhatsApp group, called the Billionaire book club, where fellow entrepreneurs can find value and insights from other readers.

- He suggests three books from start-up entrepreneurs.

- Screw it let's do it - Richard Branson

- The Go-Giver – Bob Burg and David Mann

- The Alchemist Paulo Coelho



Question 5.

Any last tips or advice to start-up entrepreneurs?

- Every single thing you do is an experience that you can apply in the future.

- Improve yourself daily, for a better tomorrow.

- The best project you can work on is you.
